One of the vendors of a multinational pharmaceutical company came up with a requirement of printing on Triangular PP caps in single color on all 3 sides but wanted to get it done in single loading in a production environment. The customer also wanted to avoid any sort of pretreatment on the cap if possible. The challenge was met with the help of pp caps printing machinery, three side padprinting along with Marabu Inks, one of the worlds most reputed inks whom we solely represent In India. Initial test revealed that it was even passing the tape and scratch test. We moved ahead and customized the system as per their requirement using a motorized cam indexer, 3 closed cup pad printing machines, each with two heads, two 120 degreee rotating systems, and three infrared curing systems between each station for instant curing to aid packing of the caps and an auto unloading system.
