Single-Four Color Automatic Pad Printing System for Caps and Closures
Single-Four Color Automatic Pad Printing System for Caps and ClosuresAlmost everywhere from Beverages, Mineral water, wines , fruit juices, oil etc, the packaging for these products, especially the caps/closures need to be marked/printed to project the brand image of the company for that there is requirement of pad printing system and automatic pad printing system. The increasing demands are well met by our systems wherein over the years we have increased the output from 150 caps per min and now upto 400 caps per min. Constant R and D and a hunger for innovation has made it possible to deliver such outputs using conventional pad printing wherein the quality and opacity is excellent and you can get picture like images.

The caps once dumped into the hopper constantly are elevated by an elevator which again dumps the caps into a motorized bowl feeder at regular intervals as soon as it get signal that the caps in bowl feeder have gone beyond a certain level. The caps get oriented in the bowlfeeder and come out in the desired direction into a chute or on a conveyor from which they travel in a chute and are divided into as many lines as required. From the chute these caps get loaded on the multi cavity fixtures of linear indexing system . The linear indexing system can be either motorized or pneumatic depending on the output requirement. It has a special locking system which locks the fixtures while they are printed to prevent jerks etc.There is a roller given to press and set the caps into the multi cavity fixtures to ensure the caps are properly loaded. We optionally even provide an option " NO Cap, No print"i.e if accidentally a cap is not loaded in the fixture, then the system can stop and a particular cap can be loaded manually . Further on the caps is pretreated online using gas flame treatment system for getting good adhesion. The caps are then printed using the pad printing machine in as many colors as per requirement. After printing they are cured using infrared curing system and then unloaded either directly or on a conveyor or another elevator+hopper as per the requirement. Batchwise counting facility too can be incorporated.

Note
  • Optionally Pad Cleaning system can be incorporated and preprogrammed as to after how many cycles should the pads be cleaned.
  • Safety guards can be incorporated as per international standards to stop the machine immediately by infra rays to prevent anyone from tampering or any putting his hands inside machine while machine is running.
  • System can be given in closed cups in varying outputs.
  • Similar system can be used for printing on top of ROPP metal caps also.
